The BWF announced that the Court of Arbitration for Sports has rejected the the appeal by the Russian Badminton Federation in relation to RBF's membership in the BWF. RBF was kicked out by the IBF (now BWF) after RBF was kicked out by the Russian Olympic Committee and the Russian Federal Agency for Physical Culture & Sports last year. The way is now cleared for a new legal badminton body, legally affiliated to the BWF, to represent Russian badminton once again. Let us hope we see more Russian players playing internationally.
