The dvds by Zhao Jian Hua and Xiao Jie have a more comprehensive explanation about footwork. Although the dialogue is in Chinese you can follow all the moves without problem, even without sound.

It is also helpful to see different players go through the motion because of the obvious different in styles of play. Maybe Rasmussen's movement might be a lot easier to follow and such then many chinese players just because of the difference in physique.

Peter's footwork drill is good, and of special note is the way he pushes off. But the Zha Jian Hua/Xioa Jie dvd footwork is more complete, including footwork not covered by Peter, and more systematically analysed and explained.

That was quite good, although I admit it took me far too long to figure out that he was a leftie.

His footwork is the definition of efficient.

It looks like he's not moving very fast but its really quick. I know its oxymoronic but wow... Definately better than his jump smash video ^_^

    Hi!

Does anybody know if there will be a new video from Peter Rasmussen this week or perhaps next week?

I do Not think there will be another Rasmussen video... i hope i'm wrong

but i heard that they would only do more based on the amount of 'response'

I'm assuming by response they mean activity on their forum board - but since there forum board is dead because nobody uses it...

I think most people would rather talk about badminton here.... and even though there is probly alot of responses on youtube or here about the video, they aren't getting it on their own site, so I'm guessing they wont make more.
