Why having this tournament on the same weekend as the Racket Supply Tournament?

Either the tournament director is not aware or want to spice up the competition by splitting the participants.

    LOSE-LOSE SITUATION!:(

How do you know what you can and can't play? Such as REC singles, or REC doubles. I believe I'm a rec. player because I don't train or anything like that. Nor have I taken classes.

Rec flight is for players who play open gym and would like to start competing in tournaments. We understand that the lowest flight at most tournaments - D level - is pretty hard for any open gym player to start competing. That is why we created the rec flight for those who have not played any tournaments or have never had any formal training, but want to experience tournaments. This will expose more players to the sport and increase the level of badminton in the community.

Yes, college students receive discount too. Any participant qualifies for the student discount as long as he/she is a student at a school/college/university and has a valid (2006-2007) school ID (to be verified during check-in on day of tournament).

    What's your point!?

If you don't want to play, just pass, please don't post this kind of discouraging comments.

Turns out that for the team event they will be giving you the choice of either Mavis 350 (10) shuttles or Chester shuttles (5).

Any bc people want to form a team? If we can get a bunch of people and each win at least one match we can win the trophy and tubes of birds.

Last time I played at the Bintang tournament. It was a lot of fun and they did a great job scheduling everything. There were close to 300 participants (from what I remember them telling me). And the best part was, they have a bunch of flat-screen monitors to display all the draws. At first it seemed a bit weird to check draws that way versus the traditional on-the-wall paper draws. But once you get used to it, it is really awesome. The results get updated almost instantly!

I am going to be playing this tournament along with my high school friends. Hopefully if we can get enough people we will do well in the team tournament. So ping me if you are playing this too. We can form one huge team! :D
