You can bet on Badminton Central Forums using BCF$ Please note that BCF$ is not real money. TBBMBB(N) p.s. Don't know where to bet. anybody knows?
I think the reason why no one takes bets on badminton (or tennis) is because of the predictability. The bookmaker will tend to lose a lot of money in such an environment. In football, there is more uncertainty.
But I think we should at least have fantasy games. Maybe we can set-up a think-tank to explore options.
Good Evening Dear Friends, Am new on this great site.... I can bet on following matches: ANY TIPS OR INFORMATION YOU CAN PROVIDE WILL BE OF GREAT HELP. Kenneth Jonassen - Y. H. Kendrick Lee (0-1handicap) 1.30 4.40 6.60 Chen Hong - Muhd H. Hashim 1.50 2.25 Lin Dan - Taufik Hidayat 1.38 2.59 For me Lin Dan a sure winner....
Sure you could lay a bet on with a bookmaker for something like the all England championships, probably have to predict the score to get decent odds though.
Heh Heh. Maybe Kwun can set up a system in here somehow where it states clearly next to our post how much bet winnings (BCF$) we have in our 'account'
Genetic Potential Anyone feel like they have ever hit a plateau they felt they could never improve upon physically? For me whenever I try to kick up my training to twice a day everyday for a total of 4 or 5 hours a day I get injured or my performance drops hugely because im always tired. I don't think I've reached as high a level as I'm ever going to get physically but getting off this plateau to the next one is very difficult for me. Maybe a change of diet or more sleep every night are pretty much the only things I can think of.
I am completely right there with you on this one. My friends, coaches, and advisors tell me to stop training so hard, as the results are injuries and overtraining syndrome (which can have some dire consequences). However, I feel I'm doing much less than I should be. I guess what we should both do is probably reduce our loads, and increase it VERY incrementally. I'm talking no more than adding an hour a week of working out. But I'm not going to take my own advice on that, and will continue to go psycho. But I guess some people's body's just aren't built as resilient as those of others.
that's what i've said too about LCW stop winning http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39000&highlight=overtrained http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36429&page=2&highlight=peaked
Overtraining is individual. Some people can train more than others, I'm going to start taking glucose pills to see if it helps at all.
