im not really reconized with raquets quite yet and i would want to know what would be the raquet for a person that likes to smash and to have control on the birdy, also i like light weighted raquets since im... quite... small with small hands...

You should add the AT 900.

Sure, send me one of each in 3U and 4U and I'll gladly review them.

Oh, well, since you got all those bags of Ashaway strings, I would assume you could probably get yourself an AT 900 too, lol.

To be honest i don't like the way you write the AT800def to have a low smash power when you actually get more power from it!!! than the Off!!!! this is why all the top international players don't play with the new AT900Power the catalogue may write it as Lin Dan but he uses AT 700 and Lee Chong Wei and Taufik uses the AT 900 Tech for more power

Acutally, I would have to agree with jsunsun regarding the low smashing power for the AT800DE.

In fact, I feel my old MP33 has more power than the AT800DE, though i must say the 800 has very good control (I feel obliged to say something nice about it cos I'm actually trying to sell it
).

Dude, he actually mentioned that it was his opinion, perhaps his playing style is different from yours. It may be that the AT800 Off is too stiff for you to be able to utilise it to the full potential (i.e. flex the shaft enough for it to whip through the shuttle). I certainly don't like the AT800Off as its hard work playing with it, but I'm sure there's a lot of folks out there who love it to bits.

I always enjoy reading Dinkalots helpfull reviews and after all this Sotx-hype here I gave the D600 a try. I found out that I disagree with Dinkalots view, this racquet is not as good as reviewed. This review is all about power, but lacks touch and technique.

how can a racket have 'touch and technique'?
reviews are always nice, but rember 'different strokes for different folks'
to put that into perspective: I hit harder with my D500 than with the D600...just because the flex/weight suits my swing better...
specs and other peoples opinions can just get you so far, in the end it's about what you like...
EDIT: to add, being a specs-nerd myself... If you were using an at700 you might indeed find the racket different/not for you. The headweight is less, and the shaft is stiffer...does that make it a bad racket? for you, perhaps...generally: a definate no.Last edited by jerby; 05-23-2007 at 05:35 AM. Reason: adding ramblings
