Just got some to try. I am using bg80 @ 22 x 24 right now. Any suggestions on what tension to use with the pg66?

    Thanks

same as u use bg-80, if u feel bg-80 at 22x24 is suitable then go the same for pg-66

Just string to your usual tension.

Yep change just one thing at a time or how can you make an impartial decision of if it works. Different string/same tension, next time you can alter the tension if you want.

I'd say go up 1lb. as PG66 loses tension a bit more than BG80.

Thanks to all who replied. I'll just add a lb or 2 and see how it plays.

assuming you do mean powergut66, to me, doesn't feel like there's any tension discrepancy compared to bg80, so stick to same tension.

PG65 and PG66 is softer than BG80. To get the same crisp feel, for me at least, I need to go 1lb. higher.
