Recreational Badminton in Thornhill
Hello Everyone,
Some of my friends got together and started to rent a gym in a community centre. See below:
Time: 5pm to 7pm every Saturday
Location:
Thornhill Community Centre - at 7755 Bayview Avenue, on the northeast corner of Bayview Avenue and John
Street. The entrance to the gym is on Greenlane (one street north of John, beside Foodbasics).
Guest fee cost: $5.00
There are three courts and on average about twelve people show up.
Range of players are from beginner to advance.
RSL feather birds are supplied.
If you want to play with plastic you will have to bring your own.
PM me if you want more information.

Forgot to mention.
The floor is new, there is a lot of space around the courts, high ceiling and good lighting.

yeah it's true! i checked out this place this past weekend. Though they also brought some plastic (or maybe it was a member who brought them, not sure) . Seem like only the int/adv players liked to play feather, while the beginners actually prefer plastic. So the feathers didn't get used up too fast.

Update.
Hello all,
Changes: We no longer supply Feather Birds. If you want to play with feather birds you will have to bring your own. Some players like myself usually bring their own birds.
We now supply Mavis 300 and Mavis 350 plastic birds.
Cheers,
D-man
