stop playing until your back fully healed!
    I kept playing with a hamstring-injury..didn't work out well...form-dip was an udnerstatement(...actually won a C-tourny, and quarterfinal-C, both singles..)

when your back is fully healed, start slow and work up. do shadowdrills, lots of drills..you'll get back in form!!

I definitely agree. If your back is painful enough to change your footwork, it's painful enough that you should not be playing.
