In my country its not so easy as that, because the Yonex Grips have to be ordered to the representative, because thy are not in any store.
hmmm then buy like 50 grips (thats 150 super graps) which should cose around 300 dolalrs. should last you a few years ^_^ Orrr you can make your own towel grip.
On top of that, you are also wearing the grip out even more. You could also invest in getting other brand name grips, like the Babolat Syntec Overgrip, which is similar to the Yonex Super Grap with a less tacky feel.
Negative Ghost Rider, it's just that it's not prudent to do so and here at BC we try not to give advice and recommendations that are detrimental.
An answer might still be warranted. I've had times when a new grip has gotten dusty and slippery, so I turned to a damp cloth to clean it. Might be better ways though.
The best way to clean a grip is to spend about one dollar and get a new one. That's my response and I'm sticking with it.
It's not about know or not know, it's about whether the progress worth the effort or not. The overgrip is usually very cheap, which means the intention is to "throw away", but not "re-use". It's like if you used a piece of paper already, do you go for another piece, or you want to "white out" the current one, and re-use it?
rub it in with vinegar. Or Soy sauce, works well... Trust me, within a week you'll have a new grip...
Are you serious??!! lol wouldn't your grip smell like vinegar or soy sauce?? And btw you'll get hungry from the smell of soy sauce YUM YUM!! hehe
That only useful if you really need change a grip, but don't have any with you at the moment. The used grip is not very friendly for you skin, therefore, definitely not a solution for long run.
That's very, very true. But there is the additional factor that I am very, very cheap, heh. Anyways, you can rewrap it starting from the other end to use the part that was under the fold before, providing you did it tightly enough.
