Has anyone heard of the SOTX Superlight Series?

It's supposedly SOTX's version of super light rackets, varying between 76-80 grams. The three rackets are LG-200 (shortest), LG-300 (lightest), and LG-600 (longest?).

I tried searching for these rackets, but there doesn't seem to be much, if any, info on these rackets.

Yep, these are good rackets. They are stable and responsive but lack power, relatively speaking.

They are good for beginners and players with less power or players who want a mobile, stable racket.

I have tried all three, really good, but I dont like this light-rackets personally.. They have a bit of a "wave" pattern sort of at the bottom of the frame, and the I feel they also gets stiffer from 200 to 600.. 600 was the one I liked the most..

LG300 and 600 are both long (670mm) LG200 being abit shorter.. Most players seem to prefer the 600, as it is a) long b) very very ligt and d) easy to still get good power. But I think its more for intermediate players.. People with huge smashes will find it way to flexy..

Vibration dampenig is also great with these rackets, so I think they are very suited for weaker arm players, Girls and junior-players who wants "effortless" power...

    cheers,

Exactly. With these rackets, weaker players will get power but powerful players will not. :p

I''d go with the 300 too, from what the descriptions on the website said. Lightness with an extra touch of attack :]

twobeer, your analysis is spot-on. I play with the LG-600 and found this racket powerful and not demanding at all. For US$63, its value for money imho.

I bought LG200 recently. But I do not feel it is a good one.

    Sotx UK sell these. Link
LG-300 is currently out of stock but should be in soon. The other 4 in the Superlight Series are available.

Having played with the LG300 model in the past, I would agree that it does not generate as much power as I have hoped for a head-heavy racket. Smashes and clears were noticeably weak.
Having said that, the light weight makes the racket very maneuverable for defense. Control was also excellent for net play.

I suppose female badminton players playing mixed would enjoy this racket? Not bad for a racket at this price range.

    Surprisingly good racket.

LG300. Just came across super light seris when puppysports recommended it ... for my wife.
I am just loving this racket.

True, that it doesnt have too much power but few tiring games, I just love to play with this. So light and still packs a god punch.

I can easily see so much improvement in defense/returning smashes with LG300. Very highly recommended if you dont have very strong arms and prefer a light racket.
