I am currently using a nanospeed 8000 , with bg80 at 24 lbs. I'm only 13 , but I think I may preform better with a higher tension. So bcers should I string my raquet at 26 lbs to see if I can handle it. I've always wanted to test some higher tensions. Not that theres anything thing wrong with my current strings , but if I get use to it , i might be able to improce my game.

Consequences? It's just a few dollars in string and +2lbs.

I don't think anything world changing is going to happen. Some of you take badminton way too seriously. ...:p

2 lbs increment should be reasonable. I did that when I was beginning badminton back then. Well I sort of jumped a bit too fast since I did not master the tension and increased it even more on the next re-string. Eventually I found the higher tension I wanted (by the sound tone I wanted).

Yep try it, worst that will happen is that you need a restring a week later.

I string my own rackets at work. I have two machines. I had a bunch of rackets prior, over 100. Now, I just have a few SOTX Woven 7s, D600s and Cab 20 Tours and some miscellaneous rackets I test here and there.

I get my raquet strung by a guy named "old john". He goes to the vslc almost everyday , so I found him to be the most reliable. Raquet central and whats your raquet are way to far for me. Hes a great stringer

He doesn't actually charge you for the stringing , only the strings.
If you give him strings , hell do it for free
He only carries 3 strings , the most popular
and you can pick the raquet up the next day , cause hes always there xD

SO its more like a free service , except the strings

    bg80-22$
    bg65-20$
    bg65ti-20$

Ps- cooler remember me? , I'm the friend of leslie that used a mp-25 Vslc
, u trained us sorta for like 2 hours?

You can't be serious? You can't seriously think he's doing the string job for free. $20-$22 for string? He's definitely charging you for the string and string job.

You might as well buy your own string for $3.5-$5.50 each and give it to him for "free" stringing and then send me $10 each time for my brilliant idea and still save $3-$5. :p

there were several kids there so i dunno which one is u tho.
it was actually like 1 hr, not 2 hr due to closing time:D
i told leslie to post his good samartian story in BF but he hasn't yet.
I know old john but i see him as 'no smile john':D
I dun think the labor is free tho, except maybe if u smile coz he doesn't have any:D
Cooler say u should stay under 25 lbs.
