I bought this racket I couple of weeks back and it certainley is the most powerful racket I have come across. It is a little heavy - but then I understand a booming attacking racket has to be. The strings are also uncannily tight - when I hit the shuttle the sound is at least a semi-tone higher than anyone else's.
Fully agreed. I bought mine few weeks ago, and... now... I have shelved my 2 Armotec 700 for the time being. Just loved the WOVEN 11. Did not go for high tension, was playing only at 26LBS x 28LBS. Just wondering... since the WOVEN 11 suits me... just wonder if there is any WOVEN Series that I can derive more power? Thanks.
Depends. Overall, the 11 is the most powerful Woven racket. However, if you cannot maximize its potential (flex it), something lighter, more flexible may give you more power such as a Woven 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 or 13.
I think the strings are at 31lbs, but I'm not sure as they came ready strung from the store. the strings themselves are sotx's own.
nah, no way..24lbs max I think...you have the blue-gripped one, with the yellowish strings right? might be the climate change or the stiffness is getting to ya anyways, thanks for the review! I'll answer your mail
The strings aren't going to be 31lbs. When you purchase the racket you should be able to specify the tension. Where did you buy it? Also if they are a thinner string than your friends then they will sound tighter
at sotxsports.com But it's a second-hand. orginally factory strung in China with BS963 at 24lbs... I guess it's about 22-21lbs -jerry
