I'm happy that the KO chose to use Tournament Software. It makes it ideal to view the results. I wish all Tournaments would use TS.

i thought all the tournaments in the super series would be using TS.
hmmm, maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part, but yeah, i agree, TS is by far the more superior online score tracker!

Actually, don't know whether this is TS' fault. But one very important statistic is missing, which is the point progression.
    eg.

    AA 1 2 2 2 3 3 4 ...
    BB 0 0 1 2 2 3 3 ...

I believe among all statistics, that is the most important. I do recall some tournaments that had this. Perhaps the Asian Games or Commonwealth Games.

right, down to the business end of things.
my predicted winners on the left ...

    MS:

    LD vs Roslin
    BCL vs CY
    Hafiz vs Sony
    CJ vs LCW

    MD:

    TG/CW vs CY/FHF
    MK/HS vs LYD/JJS
    KKK/TBH vs CTF/LWW
    JE/ML vs LJJ/HJM

some excellent matches all round, only people missing are TH and PG, which is a shame.

I think that if CHong Wei could win his match against Chen Jin tomorrow, he will find his confidence back.If he is going to lose, his poor run will continue.:(

Roslin's gonna do something big in this Korean Open. Last year, he was the runner-up beating chen yu and LCW.

Yeah I kinda agree with this. I think he's losing confidence in himself. A win here would be good for him. They're both in my top 3 favourite players but this time I'll go for LCW :). I think the chances are around 50-50 though I really have no idea who could win. I don't think either of them are currently on top of their game...

I think he loses confidence in his net play, perhaps after the defeat by Taufik in Doha game.

Tell me which one of the following result of MS will please you:

    1. The Chinese team dominates in the quarter finals, and then one of them take out the winner of Hafiz vs. Sony, to make it an all China final.:p

    2. In the semi... we have LD vs BCL or CY, and Hafiz vs LCW... then LD gets a walkover, and LCW gets a walkover from Hafiz.:p

    3. M.Hafiz breaks the great wall by beating Sony in QF, CJ in Semi, and LD in finals... THIS WILL MAKE ME LAUGH SO HARD IF IT EVER HAPPENS THIS YEAR.:eek::eek:

    prolly just a bad day.
with the 21 point system, i feel that your chances of recovering from a bad start are much lower than under the old system.
once you're behind by 5 points or so, you start to get nervous and make more mistakes, then the game can quickly run away from you.

I have seen a great many comebacks under the point-a-rally system.
