    wts the diff between letting a known stringer string for u and stringing urself.
    if u have been strining for abt half a year with a drop weight, and pro stringer string with those 3000+ machines. same string pattern. any diff?

    IMO, there are a few adjustments in the string tension in the first few times. After that, you can figure what tension you need exactly on his/her machine then it should be the same.

    The determine factor in string job quality is the stringer, but not the machine itself. As long as you have enough expereince under your own belt, and know your machine setup, you should be confident to at least take a try. Then, evaluate your 1st job, and improve based on your study. After a few tries, you should be fine. ;)
