HI..........after testing a while i must say i play worse than 2years ago.....

With those 2 rackets i can't create the smash-power like with my 100gramm WILSON TI-SMASH......

    What should i do?

And i must add, the 800Of is better at smashes, but the Clear-Power is miserabel......

    ****, what should i do?

I put all my power into the smashes, but the smashes seems pretty powerless compared witho those of the Ti-Smash....
    :crying: :crying: :( :crying: :crying:

This is a very tricky situation.

At least, i haven't bought them yet. I can still return them to the shop, although they won't be happy, because i "borrowed" them for 1,5week, almost 2weeks........
I just can't buy them for much money, and my game is getting just worse....

With my Ti-Smash i just smashed my oppenents of.....

Man, what racket should i buy?

If you don't like it, don't buy it. Simple and easy.

Ok, but my real problem is, why i can't get used to those rackets?

I mean with the Ti Smash i got so much power in those smashes and precision.

    What should i just do?

But i have the feeling, that the major problem could be the stringing.

BG80 with 22Lbs........perhaps i should play with 19lbs tension to got the power? I am a very precise player.

Man what racket should i buy......

This sounds like more of a skill issue not the racket. Plus there are plenty of other rackets out there which could suit your style of play.

How was the stringing of both the rackets?
Or perharp you cant get use to the stiffness of both?
I had personally tried MP99 and AT800DE and both could clear easily in small swing. So i highly doubt it the racket being lousy.

I feel that if you are doing well enough with your current racket, don't bother about changing.

    So what for example?

The "cheap" Wilson Ti SMASH was very very stiff.

Perhaps it is just the Stringing:

    Just like i said:

    BG 80 with a tension of 22lbs!

Perhaps i just should lower the tension to 19lbs, because i have a very good controll of the shuttlecook.

go get a Ti-10 it most prolly suit you, and it might be you not getting used to the racket and missing the sweet spot because of the different swing speed and flex

I don't think you need mp99 or amortec800off ,if you are looking for a good clear, stringing at 19lbs is less than9kg so low!
you need a very flexible racket, not so expensive(bg80at22lbs minimum)

If I remember correctly, I did got a chance to swing some Wilson lower end rackets before, and none of them I will say it's very very stiff, when compare to AT800OF. Of course, I don't know if the ones I used includes Ti Smash or not, but I seriously doubt it's could be "very very" stiff.

The reason I think that you are "losing" power, is more or less to do with your technique and the difference between rackets. It takes time (depend on the player) to adjust to another racket, as the timing might be off at the beginning.

Like bluejeff said, if you don't like them, don't even bother to buy them. Return them, and look for other choices. It's great that your shop can "lend" you the rackets to demo, therefore, you should have a better chance to get the one you like after some tries. ;)

    Thanks for the replies:) .

But as i stated, i got the three rackets here to compare there stiffness.

But i have to say the Ti-Smash has the stiffest shaft.
    The Yonex-Modells are more stiff.

Well the Ti-Smash weights about 100g!!
Perhaps thats why i got so much power with less effort.

    So perhaps i try a MP100?
The Ti-10 is very rare here.

Lowering the tension is always worth a try. It's a lot cheaper than a new racket or hiring a coach, and produces instant results.

Yo, also my shoulder isn't that "good", so that i can't accelerate the racket so fast.

Well but, i must say i will return the MP99 and the AT800Of tomorrow, and buy the MP100, which is very "cheap", for about 90$.
Well perhaps fakes? Because i think they are made from Taiwan?

If that doens't help too, i will just buy a new Wilson Ti-Smash.
Because i have to stop my awful bad play fast...i am going nuts beacuse of this:mad:

You may have a problem if you cannot accelerate the racket fast enough to get the racket's shaft to flex. Might want to read this thread here regarding shaft flex.

Probably go try a Yonex MP88.

It's not so much of power, more like speed and technique, wrist power (snap power).

What currency you are referring to?

All high end Yonex models are made in JP. If the owner told u they are made in TW, that's why it's cheaper, then it's a fake.

    SO now training over.

Well netplay today was quite good with the MP99

But again i didn't get power to my smashes....

    Are the "Tawain YOnex"-rackets bad?

Because the MP99 isn't that cheap. It costs about 140$.

ANd for a MP100 made from Tawain 90 bucks.
    Thats quite a difference.

And since i am not completely satisfied with the MP99 and the AT800Of i will send hem back.

I am a very offensive player. If the smashes don't work, my whole game doesn't work at all.....

    Lol, i think i just buy a new Ti-Smash for 30$.........

Or is there a Wilson-racket, that is similar to it?

    EAPOCS,

It seems like you need a moderate flex racket IMO.

    BTW:

That is counterfeit. High-end Yonex rackets are made in Japan.
