Greetings, It's time to ask Marissa-L for our Return Match with MG(Marissa's Group) players !!! I will email Marissa-L about the Return Match. BTW, she has not replied yet, if they are coming to celebrate with us, the Chinese New Year 2007 Banquet/Dinner on Saturday 10-Feb-2007. I will give details as soon as I get info from Marissa-L. As i said in the other thread, I am happy to captain B team. Chris, from your memory of last meeting with their group, is that right to assume that i am to take anybody except the people with -8 next to them? (once the hadicapped system has settled in a few weeks time, that is)
Marissa knows what I meant by "A Friendly Match" Hi hkhung, I have sent an email to Marissa. And she knows what I meant by "A Friendly Match". When she makes contact with me, and tells me what strength the MG Team is, then we will consider how to select, from what skill levels, from our CCC membership to match them. Our main objective is to try to achieve "A Most Friendly Result", eg 8:8. Based on what I have seen/heard in the last few weeks, it appears that we could select players from our Middle Skill Level. Let's wait for Marissa's response first, before we make any decisions. Cheers... chris@ccc
so so true. last friday, ketut told me that Marissa's group is not up and running because not enough people for sunday Marissa's group. I also suspect that they are trying to organise playing at boronndara sporsts complex (the new place which they have been there when box hill was being renovated). So there might not be a return match afterall. Will try to find out more this friday talking to Ketut again.
It just daunt on me today that there's still a possibility of a return match. As more and more MG's team come to friday, we can organise to play against them. The following could be representing Marissa's group: Keith(and his wife?), Ketut, Roger, Anatoli, Ian, Irina, Melacor Anyway, i will try asking them when i see them.
