Hi, i usually don't prestring, but thought i would try it this time so i don't have to deal with shared holes. This is a 2 piece method, and last time i did prestringing with 2 piece method there wasn't enough string to do the prestring far enough. So i want to ask for tips and also how many meters do you divide your 10m strings packs into? maybe mine are just too short i do 5m and 5m...Thanks for all of your help in advance.

With normal tension (20-26lb range), I have about 17-17.5 ft from main, and the rest for cross. ;)

I do prestringing just like DinkAlot did on his video as if I were doing 1 piece stringing and tension the Mains as you would normally. After I tension the last Main on the long side, I cut the string to give me enough length to tie-off at B8 (or wherever your string pattern recommends). The remainder of the cut string I insert into B6 (or wherever your string pattern recommends), do a starting knot, and start Crosses from B9 (string already in place from prestringing). Just be careful when you do your cut that you give yourself enough for tie-off, and leave enough slack to start tensioning the crosses. I've been doing this for the last 10 or so rackets that I've strung, and have had great success. This method usually gives me about 2-3 feet extra even before tensioning. Hope this helps. Good Luck. :)
