Do you think $100.00 canadian is a good price for a real Nanospeed 7000? There are paint chips throughout the frame, but the fellow who is selling it to me says that they are from scooping the birdie and the occassional mis hits. He has lent me the racket for a week to play with to see if i like it or not, and I am having a hard time deciding. The racket appears to be in good condition and not a fake. The fellow as a Nanospeed 9000, 8000, 7000, and two AT800's back home in China. Do you think this is a wise investment? The racket appears to not be a fake either. Thanks for your opinion!
if there are no structural damage to the racquet and if its genuine then its not a bad deal. but the chips at the 12 o'clock position looks kind of bad. just make sure you inspect it thoroughly before making your decision.
Thats what i thought too. They look pretty bad for just retrieving the ball. They do appear to be just cosmetic. is there anything specifically i should be looking for when purchasing a used racket? P.s. the racket is strung with bg65.
I hope it's just the camera's flash glare & pic angle, but it looks like the paint is somewhat uneven.
i think it seems like a good deal, if the raccket is genuine, and that those chips are only cosmetic, then 100 canadian dollar (thats about 50 usd right?) seems like a really good price, and if it were me i wouldnt hesitate to buy if i knew that the racket was genuine etc.
One thing you need to keep in mind is that since you have the racquet with you; make sure you are comfortable with it. What I mean is that make sure the racquet suits you before making your decision. Since I do not know what other racquets you have used and what you prefer. All I can is that since you have the racquet, try playing with it to make sure you like it.
Yeah man, if the chips arnt too bad, its still a good deal, and of course if its genuine. But i still doubt that the 12oclock chips were from scooping the birdie....
There is no way that racquet hasn't been clashed before. The chips on it are just horrible, it looks like someone used it to carve a rock.

Well, carving a rock or not, i bought the racket for $105 CAD. It seems very solid. He included the bag he had for his 9000 too!
If you can get a authorized yonex retailer and asked them to check it for you if it's authentic. And get a experience person to see if any cracks are in the frame. The huge chip on the 12 o'clock looks really really bad.
Bags come for free pretty much, if he were selling that on the forum, it would have barely fetched 60-70$ CDN
