    I am not sure, but I think badminton nowadays depends on more body strength than before. However, the neatness has gone down....

    15 years ago....hmmmmm i was more preoccupied with watching badminton rather than playing it. i guess the sport grew in a lot of ways. technology wise. strategy wise (the new scoring system needs new strategy). and the players are using more strength nowadays rather than the slick moves of yesteryears. the display of brute strength in a jump smash is a good example.
