Hi, I am choosing the racket between the two. ProKennex Concave 700 is 100% graphite and Carlton Powerblade TT is Hi Modulus graphite, I think the ProKennex is a bit lighter. I never try on both of them before and dont know how they perform. Hope some of the wise and knowledgeable user can give me some insights. Thanks.

See Link for review of the Concave.

    Hello Shoeshunter,

I played with the Concave it is a very nice racquet with a lot of power and very good control. I use BG80 @ 23lbs. The Kelvar and design of the racquet absorbs alot of the vibration from miss hits, but it still allows good feedback for control. Power wise it has a very nice boom on overhead shots and smashing sound is as good as a Yonex Carbonex racquet.

Only complaint that I have is over time the shaft becomes more flexible. I had the racquet for over a year now. Started off stiff, now I would rate it as medium stiff.

I have not Tried the Carlton Powerblade TT. Pro Kennex also has the Dynamex which is essentially the same racquet as the Concave but with a ISO frame.

Hi, Thanks for the reply from bmc and d-man. I have decided to get the Prokennex concave 700. I call the company and they said the 2007 model comes with extra stiff shaft and a lot better string (Prokennex Micro Flex 66 with 24 lbs). I am excited to try it out.
