There are various ways to train your wrist for a better smash but I personally play badminton with a squash racket (if someone i'm playing is just horrible to decent I will whip out my cheap squash racket) or do wrist curls while I watch T.V or some anime (yes, I love anime) though the limit for me is 3 sets of 20 with 10 lbs since apparently 3 sets is what your supposed to do? This is just for muscles though, you should also work on technique, placement/strategy and what not but i'm not one to talk since I just run around and hit randomly :p

wrist curls is what I do too =). I just do it until I can't do it anymore. I do wrist curls normally, and then I do it backwards which is a lot harder since you hardly use those muscles there, but I thought it might help with my backhand so...
