I did some research before I bought my Armortec 700 a few weeks ago. It's an awesome racket But you know if you go to a reputable store, they probably won't sell you a fake.

Yup, I assume it's authorized or else the shop would be in deep trouble if they were selling a fake.

    It's called research and experience.

Lightbulb How to detect fake NS 9000 rackets

One thing I didn't see anyone mention (based on my own experience). If you can physically inspect a NS 9000, look at the head, you'll notice a silver part labeled "Elastic Ti". Touch that part with your fingers and slowly move your fingers up or down that part until your finger enter the gold of purple section. If you felt a glitch between the two parts, it must be genuine. If the transition feels like a one-piece material, then it should be fake. I know this because I have seen a lot of genuine and fakes.

I even own a fake NS 9000 S exactly the same as the real one. Same font, same paint job, same mass, same quality (physical), same grip, same YY logo. But the serial and date codes are off by a couple of weeks. And it didn't pass my test with the Elastic Ti.

    Try it, it works!

That's an interesting way to test the racket too tony. I guess most people in the store would not actually the racket but it would not hurt to try.

This test could be possibly use on the AT900 series too as I touched it. I noted the glitch feeling is not as obvious compared to the NS9K since the transition is smoother.
