Suggestions on how to make towel grip last longer

    everyone plz suggest to me how to make towel grip last longer... as in not harden ... i was thinking of ironing it :D feel free to suggest any answer ( stupid answers also can as long as it is quite effective :))

    I knwo a player who regularly spits in it...seems to work for him...

    my tip: take a used shuttle and 'comb' your grip..this emans your completly destroy the shuttle (you literally ram the shuttle onto your grip, feathers first) and brush it on your grip...

    if you use grippower you shoudl be able to see the dust coming off and the grip gets softer...

    Are you talking about a sock type grip or a sticky grip? The sock type onces need washing with fabric conditioner evcery couple of weeks. The tape ones you cant do that much with, perhaps use talcum powder on your hands to keep them drier?

    A friend of mine washes sticky towel grip with soap, brush and warm water. Tried it myself a time or two, but I lack the will to do so. Too lazy. After washing, grip is cushier and cleaner of course.
    But towel grip is too thick to feel edges, so I don't use it any more :D
