I've just looked at the BWF website and only just noticed that there is a separate ranking table for the SS, which i guess is to determine who qualifies for the finals at the end of the year. may i just ask if anyone knows the exact points a player scores if he/she: wins is the runner-up makes SF makes QF and so on? also, are the points the same for doubles as for singles?
whoops, sorry, i'm an idiot, i just realised you can actually click on the number of points in the ranking page to see how they're compiled. silly boy! anyways, for those interested, here's the list of points which can be scored: winner - 9200 runner up - 7800 semis - 6420 quarters - 5040 1/16 - 3600 1/32 - 2220 Q R2 - 880 Q R1 - 430
