Default Real or Fake? Psh, it's all about Clash or Stringing!

So I decided to show everyone a picture of one of my cracked AT700. Was the crack caused by a clash or poor stringing?

Not sure..but could you state what tension you used because yonex's warranty might do the trick.

Oh no, I'm not worried about the crack, I know exactly what caused it, but I just wanted to see if the BC community could spot the difference Kinda like those Real or Fake challenges. BTW more pics will be put up later on!

I shall take a poke at it!

I can say that it was broken while playing and not while stringing! To actually say whether the break was due to a poor sting job or not, i shall wait for some more photos.

As of now i am leaning more towards a clash on a swing and then followed by a smash that actually broke it!

Another fake or real challenge ? In that case, I know the answer before Matt. But I won't post the answer I know until more detailed info about the racket is made available.

Can you take a better picture with enough lighting for the next batch?

It looks like a "clash" accident.
Reasoning:- that spot is a very common spot for clashes...

Why would you suspect poor stringing?

It could be a combination of both of course.. Tensioning the crosses from the bottom to the top makes a racket more vulnerable to breaking at the 2-o-clock position. In that case, a clash could do the trick

You're taking this too far. Let it go, both of you. Take it up personally instead of publicly.

Either way not a manufacturing defect so either you get your stringer to replace it or you groan and buy a new racket. Due to the poor quality of the picture it is hard to tell but looks like a clash.

Actually you mean CB6 since he's trying to get attention. Just disregard his post.
