i have been using bg 80 and microlegend and micro power;).. i wanna try something new.. so i am thinking of bg 66:). it has everything.. power , feel , control...durability is not a problem because i rarely do power shots..( i seldom smash ) but does bg 66 hold tension well ? i usually string 25 lbs and train 3 times a week ... 3 hours each time... how long do u thing the tension will hold? ur replies are very much appreciated! :D

Assuming that it doesn't break, I give it 2 weeks max before it feels disgusting to play with. This however, does not take into account of location. Singapore has a much higher humidity then here so it might not pop at quickly. If you want more preformance at the sacrifice of durbility, then BG85's might be right for you.

You could try bg 85 or dan's strings=bg 80. I haven't tried the bg 80 yet but I soon will. As for the bg 85 I really like it.:D I also have a pack of bg 66 but haven't gotten the chance to use it yet.

I personally can't feel too much of a difference between the two. The 66 was maybe a bit easier to handle at the net, but it's so hard to do so when you can't break the strings in.

in a simple explanation,i guess some ppl already knew that thinner strings lose its tension faster than the thicker one.Ppl uses thinner strings, such as 0.66 just so that he could have a higher repulsion, even though the string wont last too long as like with 0.70 (BG65).But different case with the BG65..even with a thicker body, still loses tensions fast.

I got 1 recommendation for u..if u wanna look for thinner strings,u can try feiton as well,or kason strings.Kason has P-75 which is .67 n Feiton has Speed/Power 0.66.I used both of them on some of my rackets..n it feels great to play with.U might wanna try it as well.Besides, those strings has more durability than the BG 66..but almost got the same repulsion,of course,it comes with a cheaper price..

    Cheers!

What? Why would you think BG66 was more durable than BG80? It's not. BG80 is more durable. 0.66mm vs. 0.68mm.

if ML is dead...we're all doomed

I really think ML is one of the best strongs I've ever tried..Though PG65N has the edge if you ask me...

*Dink, gimme a ring when it's time btw (saves me a PM:p, sorry:D)
