ok review.....fischer x-lite
name says it....it is light....head light
stringed with BG 85 @ 24lbs
first using it was kinda weird because it felt too light but after playing a game with yonex nctuff 9 (head heavy)
it was quite easy to use. a very good racket for doubles.....while it says its a flexible racket....it felt more like mid-stiff flex
receiving and defending was a breeze with the racket offensive wise its ok...doesnt have the punch of a head heavy but the bg 85 made up for it.
definately a good racket. do note the head is slightly bigger than yonex so as to increase the sweet spot as the technology and writings say so.....does do the trick. the magnet thingy on the head i dunno wat it does though.
design is awesome with black and yellow mixture.....will post a pic of my racket later tonite

My wife is using X-lite as well and she like it better compare to proace platinum dream 4U. Easy to control and swing. BTW, she got it for RM235 without string. Is it expensive?

hi...beside x-lite...you guys have any others series fischer rackets?
such as black granite? (to reivew)
i feel that fischer is not famous but they actually produce great rackets with affordable price..
i used to test on a fischer x-01R...cheap and thought it is kids stuff...but at last it amazed me..but only for double game

Anyone tried FISCHER Infinity Zeus ???

i'm a noob to the forum but i've been playing badminton for a number of years. i've recently became active again and as a result bought myself a couple of new racquets. from the fischer lineup, i currently own a fischer black granite x-lite and fischer infiniti zeus.
i've played with the x-lite on a number of occasion and i'm surprised to say that i think its a wonderful racket. i've strung the racket with BG66 at 25lbs and for a light racket it does produce a powerful smash (not as powerful as head heavy attacking racket as others have observed). drives and baseline clearance was a breeze due mainly to its flexible shaft. defense and netplay was also good as the racquet lightness helps with the racquet speed. overall i think its a very good racquet that is very affordable for its class.
as for the infiniti zeus, ive just acquired it and haven't had a chance to play with it. its a completely woven racquet that is slightly heavier than the X-lite. initial impression from test swings feels like the racquet has more power than the X-lite and its also much stiffer. will update more about it once i've had a game with it.

I purchased my Fischer Black Granite Comp racket strung with BG66 @ 25lbs. I bought it based on my friend recommendation and eventually I really think the racket is really outstanding. Let's not compare with some high-end racket like Voltric 80 or Arc Z-Slash, but for a racket that cost me RM250 it is really worth paying the price.
The shopkeeper claimed that the racket have an even balanced head and flex shaft. Yet smashes that were produced by the racket is really sharp and powerful (Although I partially think it is also due to one's skill). Net play with the racket was pretty quick and nice too as the racket wasn't that heavy as it is only 83g, so basically manoeuvring the racket in front of the net is pretty quick.
In defence wise, I think the racket is pretty good with defence although I don't know how to describe it in a more badminton jargon as I'm still new with badminton term and evaluation. However, I must strictly recommend this racket to anyone who just started badminton and looking for something long-term and money wise. Although I don't know it is still easy to find similar racket in Malaysia as I heard the shopkeeper said Fischer won't produce any racket in Malaysia already yet I hope if anyone of you know where I could still find Fischer racket. Kindly give me the address and location and I will truly appreciate it.
I'm currently looking for Fischer Black Granite No.1. =)

Anyone can give a review of the Infinity series?
How does it compare to the Black Granite Series?
I have had both the Black Granite No One and the X-Lite for a year now. Both strung with BG66. I find the No One is great for base line plays yet giving ample space for some net play. As for the X-lite, it's a superb all-rounder racket and even better at the net.

I got my Fishers from Pacific Sports too. Sam's a great help with recommending rackets.

rc pro-lite is apparently a head heavy stiff racket......its about 10gm heavier than x-lite
as for infinity series....its the previous model/series before the black granite
thats wat was said by the shop owner.

I am currently using Calibur. I like it very much but not many people like it. They find that it is too heavy .
I know a dealer for Fischer racquets and accessories. If anyone is interested, I can recommend you to him.
