I recently got a Carlton Airblade Superlight after breaking my AT800OF (I know, the carlton isn't exactly similar, but the AT800 didn't suit me).

Anyway, fourth week playing (once a week for 3 hours) and I broke the strings! I didn't break BG65s in years of playing more than I do now.

What little I've found on the web suggests that they're pretty weak strings, but I'm sure they really should have lasted longer than this?

Anyway, BG80s going in their place.

BG 80's ahh nice string. You could also give Nanogy 95 a whirl. I have been reading some threads from sir DinkAlot and he has been raving about Ashaway Micropower so I might give that a try.

I bought a job lot of BG80s a while ago, still have 8 sets to use. Unfortunately the last two racquets I had restrung with them both got broken within 2 weeks!

Micropower strings are really nice, but it depends on the person. For me personally, my arm takes a beating from the strings. Long live bg85's, especially since I'm not a very hard hitter.
