I'm not aware of any live streaming for swiss open, pay or free,
Initially, there was a pay streaming but I guess they canceled it for some unknown reasons... my guess is that they don't have enough internet bandwidth to suppport the viewers, that is, judging from yesterday's busy streaming...

If anyone else have other info, please share... thanks!

I'm afraid the only coverage I've seen is from Guangdong Sports. They plan to have taped semi-finals coverage on the afternoon of the 18th and again on the afternoon of the 22nd. No finals and nothing live.

Last year the Live streaming was done on a pay per view basis.

This year the streaming was free for Qualifying through to QF. There is no Live streaming (paid or free) for saturday or sunday.

My guess is that the Pay per view didn't pay its way, so they decided to give it for free for the weekday rounds and not at all at weekends so people will be encouraged to visit rather than watching on line.

Swiss Open SF&F Online Replay Info Here!!

I have been trying all day to find any online live broadcast, but im afraid I have no luck. Please let me know if you find one.

The only live broadcast is through Astro SuperSports but not online.

I find many users on this forum who has difficulty reading chinese so below is the long step by step guide for those who wish to watch the replay online like me:

    Player: sopcast
    channel: GDTV/GD-Sports 广东体育 (channel 6543 )

    1. Download SopCast 1.1.1 for windows
    at http://download.sopcast.com/download/SopCast.zip .

    2. Unzip and install.

    3. Open Sop cast player and just login as anonymous.

    4. select 'channel tab' choose 'GD-Sports 广东体育' (channel 6543)

    5. Here comes the channel time schedule: (china time) as shown on
    http://www.gdtv.com.cn/newpage/sports/ttdb.asp.
Please note the different batch of the replay. Same batch can be broadcasted twice so choose the time that suits you.

    18/3/07 Semifinal (delayed) 13:05 - 14:35

    22/3/07 Semifinal (1st batch replay) 12:55 - 14:40
    Semifinal (1st batch replay) 01:06 - 02:51

    23/3/07 Semifinal (2nd batch replay) 14:40 - 16:27
    Final (1st batch replay) 22:47 - 00:30
    Semifinal (2nd batch replay) 03:11 - 04:46

    24/3/07 Final (1st batch replay) 10:14 - 12:00

    25/3/07 Final (2nd batch replay) 19:25 - 21:10

    6. To know the time difference to your country, simply double click on
the clock on your desktop and select time zone.

    7. For other players like tvants, ppstream.. sorry guys.. u have to find out yourself.. so far i like sopcast as it has a wide range of channels and it shows the channels in chinese and english.. which is more user friendly..

    8. OK. Enjoy ur match as I definitely will.... haha

You're right about the time, 13:00 Beijing time but isn't (wasn't) that 5AM today for you? Or maybe 6AM? Beijing is GMT+8. Amsterdam is GMT+1. Anyway, that's just the semi-finals. only 1-1/2h of coverage so don't expect anything but Chinese wins.

The good news is that they plan to show the semi-finals and finals several times this week. The first finals coverage is at 22:47. Someone who can read Chinese can correct me on any of this.
