Simon Santosa is playing very well -- looks like he wants to be up there with the top guys and is in a hurry. This is not only great for Indonesia but for badminton because we do not want to grow accustomed to the Chinese winning all the time as it would be very boring.

How can you say that? We are growing accustomed to CHN losing all the time in the MD since when? Is that boring?

CHN IS winning all the time. Look at the recent German Open and All England, the only one that got away is MD.

X Ball is correct in saying that badminton needs more champions not only from CHN all the time. He is happy to see the emergence of Simon, KKK/TBH. X Ball did not mention anything about MD at all in his post, he is just happy about new blood

Lin Dan, Bao Chunlai and Chen Yu is injured. Too good to be true. Only Chen Jin looks ok now.Rare to see Lin Dan retiring halfway during a match.

he was already in china team at the time of Ji Xinpeng and Xia Xuanze. Same as Zhang Ning. Zhang Ning is a late bloomer too. She was never the national no.1 until the top woman singles retired. now, chen yu starts to make a name for himself in China team. somehow, he is still behind Lin Dan and Chen Jin.
