i am sorry to all Tan Boon Heong fans. He apparently isn't the youngest anything to win the AE. He din manage to set any record this time. But, some day he might set one though not in the AE. Maybe, this year's World Championship?

I think almost more impressive would be being the oldest to win such tournaments... it seems hard to have much staying power in the pro badminton world!

Oldest I think was Wong Peng Soon in the 50s.
In modern times, oldest would be Jens Eriksen.
