The AT700 is a stiff racket, rather demanding. Fakes are usually more flexible and more forgiving. This is why it may feel as good if not better. It's all relative.
Racquets are usually quite overated. Never buy one expecting all the difference in your game. The RIGHT one for YOU can give you an edge, but look around the tour, some people still use old trusty Ti-10's and MP100's (although NS9K changed a lot of that). Just use whatever you feel more comfortable with. That's all.
well even though i have an extremely strong arm and can use it for upwards of 2hrs without feeling tired, i am only 14.
from your other thread, you the title is slightly off... you don't like your AT700...so "just as well" should be "just as bad" either way...it's not the racket... I could state I like my fake at700 just as well as I like my ns8k..if I don't mention how I don't like my ns8k, the message is pretty twisted...
you mean you do you like them? I mean, compare these two post: 1) my 60 bucks fake ns9X plays just as well as my at700 2)my 60 bucks fake ns9X plays just as well as my at700, but I don't like my at700 the first seems to say you ahve a very good fake, the second is more passive.. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41890 anyway, nevermind...
My fake happens to be almost indistinguishable from the real thing unless u look at the code. So it can be considered a good one.
no, no, you have every right to say it..I was just confused, and was of the opinion your "statement" was a bit misleading...it's just subtle difference.. keep using your ns9X all you want, fine with me
I think that's the problem... good 'ole miscommunication if the at700 gives you a sore arm, I think you should try an ns9S, or at300. both are easy on the arm, and quite forgiving. generally they're hard-to-hate rackets, but it's still a personal thing...
NS9000S is a "...hard-to-hate.." racquet? I have been handed one to modify by its owner who actually hates it as it is. I suggested to him to sell it but he still wanted me to have a go at modifying it even if it breaks during the 'radical surgery'.
I don't think it is a matter of the racquets, I just think that your preference is not that of the AT700. It performs as well as the AT700 because of how it appeals to your skill and how you wield it.
In my opinion the AT700 is head and shoulder better than the NS9000 S and X. A good design, even with less high-tech sounding terms, will outperform a poor design with nano this nano that.
Good for you.. buy a cheaper, flexier racket next time you need a new one.. At least you know the 140 extra bucks spent is of no use for your game.. Mabe a $30 no-name brand would be as good, or better than the fake ns9k for you? maybe 60 bucks is overpriced as well I can use my arm all day /Twobeer
