Ok, I am a noob at stringing.
    Yesterday, I Strung my NS9000X with BG80 @ 27/30lbs
It went smooth as it can get, everything is fine, tension is normal
but 5 hours later, when i took the racket out of my bag, the tension is GONE
    It felt like a 22lb string job:eek:
I string with the stringing instructions beside me
and no loose clamping and faults occured during i string
Did anybody know or have any clue or experience of such events?

(P.S. My other rackets are fine:rolleyes:)

    hmm...
did it start to rain outside?

I'm curious as to whether or not, humidity was a factor...
    or temperature for that matter...
I think there were some discussions some time ago...

errr, do you have 2 ns9X's?

you sure you tied off correctly? Strung every string? (some beginner forget to tension the last main before they tie off) doe you have a crank ro dropweight?

just re-do and try again...chances are it's a freak occurence indeed

That will only loosen the sides, not the whole racket, especially the center.

If that is the case, we are talking about major slippage :D.

Wonder whether the racket remains in shape, or getting wider/narrower? If so, might be forgot to tension the last piece before knotting.

BTW, i was getting sick of that tension, so i decided to restring the racket AGAIN!

Pray that everything will be right

ensure the knots are tight. people recommend double half-hitch but i do triple half-hitch to be safe. i remember my first knot took 15 mins.

    Double pull

Make sure the stringer is not making any double pulls on the strings (i.e. strings 2 lines and then tension). It may feel good at first, but after a couple hits, you will begin to notice a major loss in tension.

it is possible to double pull on the vertical strings with no loss at all.

I believe temperature and humidity both can be factors. Somehow, once both index going high, I feel my racket is losing tension. Of course, not like 5lbs, but surely noticeable.

To be more accurate, provide us the sound pitch of what it is making - it will give us a better referece on how much tension actually dropped.
