As I search threads for places to play in Paris I am amazed to find such a large city with so few places to play. Can this be true? Perhaps this is due to the lack of people that know about this particular web site. I doubt seriously there are so few players/venues in a city of so many people.

Well if I can't find a place to play, there are plenty of other things to do.

    Hi there,

I will be in Paris this coming May 14 through 18 for a vacation. I was wondering if you would not mind letting me play badminton together with you? I am an advanced intermediate player and have been playing badminton for 4-5 years now (3 times a week).

If you could tell me the details about it and where it is, I'd appreciate it so much!!. I am an Indonesian in my early 30's, but living in the USA. I will be staying in Paris (close to Eiffel tower). Merci beaucoup!!! :)

To Jejay and Ming Paris: Thank you very much for your offer! I've been trying to make my last arrangement in where I'll be staying in Paris. That's why I can't confirm with you when I can come to play yet. I'll be arriving on June 13 and is planning to stay for 5 weeks. I'll be totally relying on my relatives for transporation during my stay. Therefore, I don't want to commit any specific time for badminton yet. I'll probably send a e-mail to one/both of you once my schedule is settled down. Thanks again and hope to meet you one day!

Are there any badminton clubs actually IN Paris that have websites (in English or in French)? I'm going to be in Paris for all of July and no guidebook I could find listed any badminton clubs, and I'm kinda bummed out that I won't be able to play at all.
