so i come home today from a school badminton game and a broken racket of mines. ): i currently have a Yonex Nanospeed 8000 Yonex Carbonex 30MS my Cab30ms happened to break. ): pictures are below, kinda blurry. i know this is a real racket, bought it at SGVBC a year ago. serial: 5677522 - 050852US So i guess im in search of a new racket. lookin for one thats around the $100 range, or better yet cheaper and that can perform as good as my cab30ms. please help me decide. thanks
tension is like 24 lbs, i think i broke it cause i was either returning a really low smash and the racket hit the ground or i smashed the bird and my racket happen to hit the ground. not sure exactly, i was playing my 2nd doubles game and right when i smashed, i noticed that it kept going in wierd angles, then i look at my racket, and its broken.
lookin to buy a new racket around $100 and want one almost the same feel as my nanospeed 8000. i am a very heavy attack player and prefer a type of iso racket.
If US$100 is your range, then your best bet (based on your need) is another Cab30ms. In US market, it's around $100-120 range.
i was thinking about getting another nanospeed 8000. i have a nanospeed 8000 3UG4, but another nanospeed would be too expensive for me. i came across this ebay store, http://stores.ebay.com/BadmintonStore and the store sells the NS 8000 for $145, which doesn't look bad. looks like its genuine too, correct me if im wrong please. It is 3UG5 and i have a 3UG4, what is the difference? says that the grip of a G5 is smaller than G4. will i feel a difference between these two in my performance of play?
you should just bear in mind that tum98's racquets are TH coded ones, which means you won't have a warranty if it breaks due to manufacturer's fault, say. you'll have to send it back to thailand if that's the case.
just curious if yonex rackets bought in the US come with a warranty. i don't remember if i have a warranty on mines or not.
get an RSL racket. =P i just have a love for RSL racket. talk to andy tran (from sgvbc). he'll let u try them out. great rackets =P i just tried it over the weekend and loving the nova 6180 (even tho itz RSL mid range). if u like smashing, try the heat 6900 =P
Get a SOTX Woven series racket, those frames are ultra durable, and are guarenteed to take 31 lbs for Woven 8, and 35 lbs for even higher end rackets
I got my SOTX Woven 8 for 159 canadian.... go to this site, they carry the full SOTX line www.ibuysports.com
rsl rackets in US, u can find at badrus.com but contact the owner...u might get a better deal =P he's trying to promote rsl so discounts are available =P both the RSL rackets i mentioned are guaranteed up to 28lbs. ask owner for warranty information =P hehehe... i used to have an RSL racket (lower end) clashed with a yonex (higher end) and the yonex broke while my rsl had 1.5 paint chip. =P hahaha...
Lower end rackets are usually made for durability and strung with low tension, while higher end focus more on playability, which strung with higher tension. Therefore, lower end wins a clash battle is no surprise.
What about SOTX Woven rackets? I'm pretty sure no one here has said they've broken their Woven racket from a clash or what not
That's not true, just ask Mr. Panda. Overall, SOTX Woven series is pretty durable. However, nothing is bullet proof. Bad string job or mis-usage or over usage can destry anything.
