BWF took ranking for Andre Kurniawan is wrong. he should be seeded player instead of playing from qualifying round. Maybe they confused about family name "Tedjono" in behind.

    Endra and Andre

Yes if we look at the BWF's lisf of entries for this Romania Series, ...BWF or Romania's officials confused the name of Andre Kurniawan and Endra Kurniawan, both from Indonesia and Djarum... :p They assign Endra's BWF ID number on Andre's name. Endra is not even competing in this competition, ha ha ha.

    Hope they fix it...

I predict that we shall see an Indonesian hat-trick today

    Quarterfinals today:
Andre Kurniawan vs. Jurgen Koch [Austria], seeded 3
Sylvi Kurniawan vs. Elizabeth Cann [England], seeded 4
Rosaria Pungkisary vs. Simone Prutsch [Austria], seeded 1

My prediction of the winner is the one in bold. An Indonesian 3-0 hat-trick. Ha ha ha, sorry I sound so nationalistic... :D

But seriously, I have seen Jurgen Koch and Simone Purtsch play. At that time, they are not that good compared to these Indonesians upstarts. They are much higher ranked mainly because Indonesia didn't have the money to sent their players to international tournaments...

    Agree with Krisna...
Indonesia have so many talented players...
    the problem is....money!
PBSI have no money to send many players to international tournament...
i think PBSI need FINANCIAL CONSULTANT to solve this problem...:) :) :)

Indonesian MS and WS in Romania Series Finals

    Quarterfinals results:
Andre Kurniawan vs. Jurgen Koch [3], Austria: 21-17, 20-22, 21-14
Rosaria Pungkasari vs. Simone Prutsch [1], Austria: 21-11, 21-15
Sylvinna Kurniawan vs. Elizabeth Cann [4], England: 21-13, 13-21, 23-21

    Semifinal results:
Andre Kurniawan vs. Yousuke Nakanishi [1], Japan: 21-17, 21-17 :)
Rosaria Pungkasari vs. Nhuang Le, Vietnam: 21-7, 21-10  [so decisive?]
Tracey Hallam [2], England vs. Sylvinna Kurniawan: 21-18, 21-18 :crying::crying:

    Finals tomorrow:
Andre Kurniawan vs. Sho Sasaki [4], Japan
Rosaria Pungkasari vs. Tracey Hallam [2], England

My predictions are the ones in bold...
Andre just beat Nakanishi, the higher ranked Japanese, it is very possible that he shall defeat Sasaki too... [I hope]
Tracey Hallam is a Commonwealth Games gold medalist, she should be tough to beat. I just hope Rosaria will be bold in her gameplay... She should show Hendrawan etc. that she actually deserve to be in the National Team. :D

They are coaches from Lee's Badminton in Toronto, Canada plus Milawati playing WS. I think they were eliminated in the first round.
They captured MD gold earlier this year at Toronto Open but was defeated by the Japanese. Milawati captured gold too at the Toronto Open but was defeated by Tracy Hallam in the first round too.
I don't think they should play since they don't have any practices or trainings at all while working at Lee's Badminton since last year.
