This is a logo i added to my racquet aftre the origional wore off (4 games). It had absolutely no negative effect on the play of the racquet. It might be kinda hard to see (bad picture), but looks really cool. If anyone else has a custom string logo or want to know how to just ask. (http://img215.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0820kj5.jpg)
Nice . Where's the best place to get paints/what are the best paints? My NS8k came strung 24lbs BG65Ti from an authorised yonex stock list, not factory strung, but I think because they used their own paint, it came off after like an hour usage. (Very pleased with the string job though ;p) Where as factory strung racquet's paint lasts forever, do yonex use the paint that you can buy separately for their factory strung racquets? Many thanks! P.S - I'm in the UK
best place: go and buy some yonex stencil ink and just make your own design. you can get it at any good internet stores.
I used a black permanent marker on freshly strung BG80. Played four hours with it so far with no problems. Looks great.
http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36085 i did this a while back on my fake NS8000. it got a lot of oos and ahhs from my mostly asian badminton friends
On Black strings (the racquet above) i had to use a silver sharpie. It hasn't worn off yet (20hrs approx.) The Black sharpies work good on white strings, and never come off. I didn't get any other permanent marker to stay but sharpies. The yonex paint is sweet on white strings. Doesn't show on black. im getting this one restrung with red stings tommorrow and am applying the same logo onto them (silver on one side, black on the other).
I kno designs make ppl go oooh and aahhh, but doesn't anybody else get annoyed with the birds are so marked up on the cork that you can't see it anymore?
