I dunno...I'm still waiting for these to be delivered. Hopefully they will come by friday...but they're IBF approved so they cant be that bad...
Yes, the 300B is very good but I have only tried the ones from 1.5+ years back, haven't tried any recently.
Used to be very good for it's price. But recently I've tried it again and found it too fast. Recommended speed in S'pore is 76/77 but even speed 76 is way too fast!
Well, they are OK price wise, but durability is good. Maybe little too fast, depending on day, sometimes too slow, but its bloody northern spring, so weather changes quite fast I'm talking about speed 78. If you can get them with good price, I would recommend.
I'll definitely recomend them...Very durable, lasts about 3/4 of a mens double game...Excellent value for money. The amount of play you can have with one tube of 300B's are roughly equivalent to 3 tubes of Yonex AS10s. Difference is you get better flight and more consistency between the shuttles. Feathers break pretty much evenly so you usually don't end up with a shuttle that has some feathers completely broken off while others are in almost perfect condition. The only downside I can see is that once the feather breaks it pretty much screws up the birds flight which can be quite annoying. I haven't tried steaming them yet so I guess they can only get better. I'll be getting some RSL Tourney No. 1s to compare soon....will see how they perform against these...
I tried 300B quite a few years ago, excellent shuttle. However, depend on which region you are at, the performance vs. price ratio might vary, so, whether is a great deal, is depend on the market price. In US now, I feel Yangyang 2000A is even better of a deal, consider it's relatively cheaper price. It's not as durable as 300B, but to me, it has better performance vs. price ratio.
It's been more than 1 yr since I used Yangyang 2000A now. I used to get it from www.badmintonalley.com when it was offering some sale.
Here are some shots of the 300B in case you might want to try them out in the future... They are very good shuttles, the best I've used so far (which isn't much). Good thick feathers, almost 100% symmetrical, cork rarely flies off... Good strong string used to tie feathers together, very sturdy even without steaming. Cork is 100% cork, not that lame brown stuff. Good pointed feathers for added durability (I think) The white thing around the cork is nice and tight, sticks well, but cork will deform after some hard hits...
yes...boy ur sharp...had to drive 2 hrs to the one shop I know which stocks 'em... ...and heck was it worth it!
Tried 2 tubes before. One tube is more recent. Also some from other people. Poorer flight and durability compared to some of the top shuttles from other brand. Consistency is OK. The recent tube I have played has variation in flight speed in the same tube.
ooo how to see the model of yang yang?? because i also bought yang yang's shuttle cock but then broke in 5 mins.. because i like to smash and hit hard... does it because of that then is common for break? or ?
