I think he will play well, and would still be exciting to watch. Besides, the home fans will give him a boost.

Today's news in local papers had it that he is now training with Misbun Sidek to revive his old self. It might help him with this change.

If anyone can help him, it is Misbun. So expect some aggresiveness in LCW when he appears in the ABC. Luck is changing for Misbun too - to be able to get LCW back under his training programme.

Yes ! And I hope it strikes fear in your heart becoz the best is to come from LCW now that he is partnering Misbun. :D

Chinese players will now not have it easy with the Malaysian No.1 because Misbun knows how to motivate LCW to beat the likes of BAO, CY, CJ, and LD.

Loh, if you did not believe in the Dawn of Malaysian Badminton, you would have to start believing when the ABC is over. Malaysian badminton players will strike lots of fear for their oppositions in the ABC, and I predict Malaysia will beat all in the MD and MS. The Kampong Jaguhs will be out --- 'no prisoners', just all out to win !

Misbun is a top 'attacking' coach. Hafiz let Misbun down, perhaps by his injuries hindering performance at the highest level.

If you look at Hafiz's play, he is an attacking player because Misbun loves to attack (but unfortunately, it is hard to get Hafiz to do that if he is not totally fit but LCW is dfferent).

I think LCW will be different because LCW is miles fitter than Hafiz. Everyone is pretty disappointed with LCW lately because his play had been 'flat'. I think it had been flat because he tends to go into a swinging mood - he lulls himself into defeat when he is leading. Misubun's type of coaching demands that his player attack all the time and not let his opponents come back during the game (unfortunately, this takes a lot of energy to be successful, LCW will be able to exact this better than Hafiz).

Don't have to criticise me now, check it out during the ABC and if I am wrong then by all means rubbish me.

Can Misbun really bring the best out of LCW? or Indra Gunawan can do a better job? Misbun does not seem to produce world beaters. Under Misbun, WCH is always no.2 to XXZ. and Hafiz is down now. But i hope LCW can really improve.

Jack, have faith. Two things going for LCW :

    1. He has been down and he is trying to pick himself (so I think he
    will becoz of this).

    2. Misbun can read a game --- he is not that bad. LCW had done well
under Misbun before and LCW did not just give up on Tat Meng, if it
concerns his career and livelihood --- LCW knows he can get help
from Misbun and that is why he moved away from Tat Meng.

What makes you so sure that Taufik will be the champion? Can Taufik beat Chen Hong, Chen Jin and Chen Yu with his current form ?

i think Hafiz "GREAT" fitness has everything to do with Misbun's program........Misbun as a player himself last time wasnt someone with good discipline. He lacks of stamina too if u watch his game before, same like Hafiz.

heard from my father that even when Misbun was a player, he even isolated himself from others during training, and get on with his own program (i think somehow he thought that he is better than others, which i think is not at all)

.....the word from the coach was that Misbun couldnt stand the exhaustive training program.

LCW can be that fit is because previously he was under the influence of China style training program of LM where fitness is one of the most crucial criteria inside that program.

If LCW is to change according to Misbun's program.......i dono what will happen to the all-time speedy LCW. yiow yiow yiow.......
