I have a Mp 29 light, with bg 65ti on 23 pounds; i feel like im not getting enough power...what should i do?
It's hard because we dont' know how you play. 3 asiest ways: 1) Go lower on the tension 2) Use a thinner string (Ashaway Microlegend comes to mind for raw power) 3) GET BETTER
1. buy high end racket for power, such as AT900p 2. use thinner string, such as bg-66 3. use low tension (each person has preferable range about this) 4. exercise smash/ baseline shot for 2 hours non stop (about 600 times smash/ baseline shot) ---> i means very very baseline shot 5. use thicker grip w/ extra tackiness 6. exercise ur arm muscle at the gym/ fitness centre if u still not getting enough power, then badminton is not for u
Are you used to 23 lb. tension, or did you recently go to that from a lower one? And it's been said that BG-65 ti doesn't hold tension well, though I'm sure it wouldn't lose it that quickly, if it's newly strung.
i just switched racquets...i dont remember what exact tension i strung the old racquet at, but id say it was roughly a 20. Therefore, i did move up tensions this time. Wut do u suggest, restrung at lower tension...maybe 21 or 22?
That's like mine except I haven't strung mine yet though I have a pack of BG-65Ti. Try using more wrist action and remember its more about your stroke than raw power.
The at series will generate insane amounts of power for you, that is if you have a good stroke. Basicly if your technique is good, you can hit pretty powerful smashes without having to use any energi at all. Exercise your technique, and when you have gotten a good storke technique, THEN you can rely on rackerts/strings/tension to help you generate more power, or play more controlled shots. Sorry, a bit offtopic.
how old r u? becuz i am 13 and i can genate a decent power for my age with At700/Mp30 with both BG-65Ti at 23lbs but compared to like adults my smash sucks so how old r u?
Firstly, eliminate Ti from your 65. Secondly, lower the pounds to 18. Lastly, bin the light and get a heavy.
