I haven't heard the brand name Finnex, instead, there is a brand name Winnex. Winnex rackets are made in Taiwan. It is one of the famous brand name like Fleet in Taiwan. However, Winnex rackets' quality is only so so, compared with that of Yonex. However, if price is a main concern, it is not bad to go for Winnex.
Sam, Can you please elaborate on your comment on the quality of Winex's racquets? In what way is the quality so so? I would be interested and I am sure there are others too in what areas Winex is deficient. (e.g. not able to string racquets at higher tensions, racquet break easily - where? shaft, frame, etc.) Thanks.
Yes, I have heard of Finnex rackets. I have also seen and held Finnex rackets before. I can't really remember whether it was in Malaysia or Singapore though! They are all 3U, if I'm not wrong. I remember that they felt very light in my hands. Physically, the finish is not as good as Yonex or Carlton. But unfortunately I have not played with any, so I can't comment more.
It's in Singapore alright. It's in Wong Shoon Keat shop. Rem now? The yellow feather shuttles which I bought from his shop in SBA is also by Finnex!
The same place you bought your Adonex rackets! Hmm, maybe 1 of us should buy 1 and try it out some day........ hmm........
I have heard of Finnex.I was over in Malaysia and was considering selling them over here in the UK, but my studies got in the way. The challenger series used to consist of 3 rackets, the pro, power and classic. The pro was the cheaper, and felt a little unbalanced to me. The classic was great, an iso shape and great control. I had two, and still have one, but managed to break my other. The pwer was my favourite, awesome power generation, and great for fast new work. I recommend them, but I think they have since brought out new models and there is a Ti version available. I am going back to Malaysia next year and am planning to either but a load of those or some Yonex Muscle Power 100 depending on the prices. Mark
