twobeer, when are you planning to be there?
the closest is APAC. if you do decide to go, give me a msg, i will try to show up!
Claremont is in Berkeley which is unfortunately more than an hour from my place, otherwise i wouldn't mind picking you up.

You can email APAC your time. I believe they will remodel the gym.
color, gym floor, and space usage.. It would be around two weeks later tho. I hope you can try it after they remodel it. Hope you don't have to come at the time they are remodeling. it should take 3 days tho. monday - wednesday, from what i know.

remodeling is around after the 16th. If you're at SF, perhaps you can check out South City badminton club. It's at South city. Coach Dick NG is a regular there, he'll be glad to have someone to hit with. this is the address.
400 B Street, South S.F., CA 94080
monday, wednesday and thursday
7-10pm
if you want to check out apac. You can email the place and the owner will reply you asap about the remodeling and when it's done. Hope that'll help you.

whoa. the schedule is tough and you happen to live at the northern tip of the bay area where much of the permanent gyms are nearer to the south side. do you have a car? what's your evening schedules like? when can you get out of your seminar?

a car is pretty much a must when it comes to transportation in the bay area. and especially -- given that if you play, you will probably be playing till 10-11pm.

I have arrived in Claremont now. Pretty nice place!! Good gym here at the spa as well.. The schedule is pretty jammed, so It will be unlikely that I will get the opportunity to play some during this stay
