STADIUM JUARA at MONT KIARA - Looking for Members

Posting on behalf of my friend:

We're looking for members to start a NEW GROUP to play at Stadium Juara at Mont Kiara on Monday and Thursday nights at 9-11pm.

Group to start next week THURSDAY 12TH APRIL.

If 6 Players (1 court):

Fee is about RM67/person/month including shuttles (4 Tubes RSL Tourney No.2),
for (8) 2hr sessions per month-twice a week.

If 8 Players (1 court):

Fee is about RM55/person/month including shuttles (5 Tubes RSL Tourney No.2),
for (8) 2hr sessions per month.

Great turn out guys! We even got some more on waiting list. This is quite an accomplishment considering we only put this up about a week ago.

So anyways...remember our "court etiquettes" ok. We are paying RM16/hr so please be considerate to other members koz we want everyone to get maximum play-time and satisfaction.

elwin and friend...thanks for joining us last nite.
im sorry we didnt get to playeach other too much but i really wanted to. can learn a lot from u guys. we were lucky too that they were quite a few courts available otherwise it would have been tougher to get to play many rounds.

please consider some sessions at BU and let me know ok.

Hi Ren..Thanks for the games. Ya, my friend indeed interest to play in BU, but, we only play ocassionally lar..We might go there and check first. Let u know if we play there. Most probably on Sunday, which is cheaper.

both of u seem quite good as a pair. u cover back court and he in front. i wish i had a fixed doubles partner as well

Please remember for the month of May, Stadium Juara will be closed for renovation. I do hope that this group will remain for some time.

I will be either JOINING a group that plays in Kota Damansara or if you guys wanna move there temporarily, please let me know so we can maintain this group and play over there.

Anyways, the booking for Kota Damansara will open on the 20th and it usually fills up by the first day so I will need feedback on this ASAP!

Costing at Kota will be a lot cheaper as the courts there are only RM10/hr.

Shawn, what was your fren's name? He's the one able to join on Mondays only is it?

He's good...u can learn a lot from him. And u are also showing positive signs of improvement. Strengthen the basics first and u will be ok.

Hey Ren, I will still like to play, anywhere will do for me. I think you can count Mitch out though, Kota Damansara too far for him..

His name is geoffrey my housemate, no he's not the one that can only join on Mondays..it's just that so happens he wanted to join in that day and Mitch couldnt come..so just nice..

Yeah he's good..his crazy thunder smash! haha he used to play for my high school..but he can only join in on and off cause he works in the city and gets off quite late to avoid jam..maybe can count him as a guest..

In that case...we should try to ocassionally arrange to play weekends on late mornings around 11am. Courts in taman tun is usually free and quite cheap. We can use that session to share tips and train each other on serves, clearing etc.

And on the KOTA court, if we can get enough people then we should book it by 20th. I can go there early in the morning to make sure we don't get left out. To make it easy on the budget (since gaji tak masuk lagi), we shoud collect court costs first, which is RM20 for a group of 8 for 8 sessions.
Found out yesterday that Nizam stays in Klang!..wow! ask him if he's willing to play at Kota.

ocassionally on weekends i don't mind actually..

what days are you proposing for Kota? Mon and Thurs as well? Maybe we can confirm with the rest this Thursday (19 April) and collect money too..
