I've never been there personally but I know of this place: Bruntsfield Sports Here or Here There is a place in St Andrews (a bit far from you) who string badminton rackets (JJB) and the best place and my regular shop is Thistle Sports in Aberdeen who are great, really know their stuff and have a great string selection too (last one I had was Ashaway Micro Ledgend)... but that's a bit out of your way hehe
