 God, I broke my AT800 while restringing it for 3:rd time with my new klippermate M140 :crying:

When I almost came to last main string my racquet broke :crying::mad::crying::mad::( at tiny 24 lbs.

Maybe this machine wasnt as good as I thought or mabye the racquet had a tiny crack somewhere before I restrung it.

    I should invest a 6-point system from start -.- Now I have lost a lot of $$$$$

WHY GOD!!!! WHY
Ah... cant wait for next trip to Asia and buy acouple of at900

At what part of the racket did it break? If it was in the 3/9 o'clock position. See my comments on this previous thread http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41676
For your particular machine, you have to make sure the wingnuts are tightened properly so that the post won't move/creep when you tension the mains. Hope this helps.:)

I bought one and even I am a new to stringing.. I never broken my racket with that machine.
I have restrung my AT800, MP21 and APAC 1000 with around 21-25 lbs.

why are you tensioning string at top 15? if you tension the top 15, how do you clamp the string? for most of the stringer with flying clamp, you should finish looping the last 2 mains and tension the string out of throat 10.

Good point!:) Almost impossible to clamp 2 strings that far apart with flying clamps. Last 2 mains should be tensioned with 1 pull at B10.

Best advice I've heard and keep hearing when it comes to buying a stringing machine is BUY THE BEST MACHINE YOU CAN AFFORD.:) The ease of use and convenience that a better machine can offer will more than offset the higher price tag in the long run IMO.

Racquet won't collapse because we get the right kind of machine setup for the job. Best bet is to get a six-point suspension machine. Saves you lots of work and worries. You might consider the Eagnas ST-250 but it's crank. You can always convert it to a drop weight :D.

What about Eagnas Challenger I ? It´s a 6p system with drop weight.
Is that good enough for that kind of works?
