i'm looking for couple Carlton Airblade Superlites.
in particular, the red version, which was introduced around 04 or 05...

condition, the newer the better, obviously.
posting cost, shipping, and photos would be fantastic.

please let me know what you have!
this is probably the last place where i'd be able to find them... carltons are pretty hard to find nowadays!

    cheers. :)

Not impossible to find but difficult. I have only seen a few around town. 04 and 05 they also had the Rassumsen series of Superlights. 05 or 06 they introduced the Powerblade Superlight series.

yeah, i'm hooked on the grey ones, but my gf insists on preferring the red ones for some odd reason. girls are wierd. i'm guessing cuz its shinier :D
or maybe simply because they feel slightly heavier. easier to generate power perhaps.

she's tried the powerblade superlites for a bit and decided they lack in feel. and i agree, they have a hollow feeling to them. and the powerblades were released in late 05 i beleive.

the rasmussens, i have never tried. i just know theyr'e a few grams heavier and a different logo on the shaft...

lovejoy, do you still see the red airblade superlites in stores in your area?
i remember a post you had a while back saying you broke all your superlites and were looking for heavier racquets.

If you can't find one closer to home, I have a Carlton Airblade Rasmussen Superlight I am willing to sell.

i appreciate the gesture, but i would be reluctant.
i'm not sure what kind of difference there is in reality, between the airblade superlites, and the rasmussen superlites.

supposedly, theres a few grams difference. the balance i have no idea...

have you used both and can comment?

    I haven't used a standard Airblade Superlite.
I used to have a Carlton Airblade Superlite Yong Hock Kin, which was light (81g), stiff and head heavy. I think it was supposed to be stiffer and more head heavy than a normal Superlite. I really liked that racquet.
I haven't got used to the Rasmussen Superlite at all.

I have one superlite (red ). Just recently re-strung it with bg65. It was done professonally by nyc badminton club. It's in a very good condition as i rarely use it. I play with yonex mp 99 or nano 7000 most of the time. I bought it about 8/9 months ago from a seller in UK.

neo1337bird, no, the carlton you see at canadian tire is the powerblade superlite, i'm sure. its isometric and 86g, while the airblade superlite is oval head and 81g.
if its indeed a airblade... then i guess i'm outta luck! the canadian tires here don't have the airblades...

In my area I have a shop who sells airblade Superlite for about € 104.

This is racquet is new. It is exactly the same that you need :)

Ask me if you need help, The store is located in France but I could help you to order if necessary.

Just ask me by MP if you're interested.

I just broke my rassmusen. smashed too hard and hit the rim instead of the string bed. I just heard a "ping" and it was all over. I miss my Rasmussen, it was the best racket i've ever owned, but i can't find another one anywhere... It did seem to chip really bad though-I think i might try to find something different.
