AS-1 is about the same as Yonex Extra-Stiff, maybe a little bit stiffer.
AS-1 is slightly head-light balance, and about 3U.

That's about right, Master Neil :D. I had a AS-1 more than 7 years ago. It was very hard to use back then.

It is extra stiff?........I have one but i havent tried any yy racket........so i want to its standard........But i dont think it is very stiff......i dont mean anything about my ability.......but i want to find a new head heavy racket which suits me........i dont want to have a yy racket becoz it's too expensive and fragile (I like playing double).....my target is fleet 9900......Does anybody try it?......Is it good?
just now, i find that my racket is very stiff.......one more question, is it stiff as yy 9000 s/x

Guys is it safe to say that the Carlton AS-1 is similar to ns9000x stiffness?
I used to own 3 AS-1 close to 6 years back. My favourite racket still.:D
