I was thinking of joining the Derrick club, but first, i would like to know what it;s liek there. Are the people there all advanced, or are there some low to mid intermediate. Also, is it like the ebda clubs where you just go and play with whomever is there, or do you need to arrange with somebody to play at a certain time. Thanks

Well, when you join the Derrick, you're entitled to all areas of the club. You don't really just pay for badminton only, because that's a seperate area. If you want to take group lessons, they go from Beginner (toddlers and up), Intermediate, Competitive C, B, and A. I'm not really sure when the adults play, so I'd phone and ask about that. You can drop in certain days, but since I only go there for group/private lessons anyways I don't usually drop in for free play. Hopefully this helps you out.

Pretty much. When you start to know people, you can just ask them when they usually play and if you could join them sometime, something to that extent.

It depends on what day you go really, some people stay after group lessons to practice a bit more.
