I used to play volleyball. What I did was a lot of jump ropes (doubles) and box jump. It's a type of training that my coach taught us. There was a wooden box about the height of your hip and you would jump placing your fore foot on the box, hop down and do the same thing over and over again until you can't jump anymore. If you guys do try to do this excercise, wear some shin guards or something to protect your shin.

One time I was doing it for about 50 or 60 jump my leg got tired and I didn't bring my leg up high enough. My shin landed on the edge of the box scraping a good piece of skin off. It didn't bleed because I was wearing sweat pants but I couldn't walk right for awhile.

The good thing about this excercise is that it helps you alot with your verticle jump, and how to position your feet before you jump.
