    Hey everyone.

I'm in the market for a new racket. I'm looking for something medium stiff flex and even to head heavy balance. and possibly with a large sweet spot and quite 'forgiving'.

    MP100 and MP99 too stiff
don't like the nanospeed range. have tried 9000x, 7000, and 6000
    AT900 possibly too stiff.

There aren't many badminton shops where I live. I have used an AT500 and liked it but the shop doesn't sell them anymore. From what I've read MP88 sounded like what I'm looking for but Yonex has cut it from their range.

Does anyone have any recommendations for me? I probably wouldn't want to go much more flexible than the AT500.

Are you willing to buy SP version rackets? If you are, it will be easy to get an AT500 or the MP88.

If you feel NS7000 is still too stiff, you might want to give NS6000 a try. Demo it if you can. It is about MP88, MP99 price range.

If you tried, and liked the at 500, i would suggest you try to get one. Look for authorised dealers online. To me it sounds like just the racket you should get, and I have to say that it's a damn good racket.

how bout AT700? its listed as extra stiff but feels more like stiff to med stiff. personally, it feels better than the AT500 & packs more power.

I agree. If you don't care about the warranty issues, then shopping online (with reputable ebayer or online shop) might be an easier solution. Make sure you verify the weight and grip size you are looking for. ;)

    Is NS6000 a good racket? comparing to NS 7000, 8000, and 9000?

It is a good racquet. However, depend on your playing style, it may be your dream racquet, it might be a nightmare. Please be more specific on what you are looking for or people will not respond to your question.

I think, AT500 or AT700 would be a good solution to your problem as you said you liked AT500, and AT700 packs alot more punch, and is not much stiffer.
I own both racquets in fact 2 AT700s and 1 AT500 and i would like to tell you i like both racquets, and i alternate between em

Go for Carlton Powerflo 807 Wide or Carlton Aerospeed 29. Both are good racket for smashing n defense...
